เราไม่เห็นวัตถุใดๆ ที่เราจะหามาถวายได้ เราได้เห็นผลพุทราที่สุกแล้วเพียงอย่างเดียว แล้วได้ระลึกถึงพระพุทธเจ้าผู้ประเสริฐสุด เรายินดี ได้เข้าไปเฝ้าพระพุทธเจ้าพระนามว่าสิขี แล้วได้ถวายผลพุทราสุกแด่พระองค์ผู้เป็นเนื้อนาบุญ เป็นนักปราชญ์ด้วยใจอันผ่องใส ในกัปนี้เอง เพราะเราได้ถวายผลพุทราสุกใด ในกาลนั้น ด้วยการถวายผลพุทราสุกนั้น เราไม่รู้จักทุคติเลย นี้เป็นผลแห่งการถวายผลพุทรา เราเผากิเลสทั้งหลายแล้ว คำสอนของพระพุทธเจ้าเราได้ทำเสร็จแล้ว
